Olympic are in the box seat to complete a second straight Capital Football treble that would land them in the National Premier Leagues finals.
The Capital Football powerhouses were beaten by Sorrento FC in the round of 32 less than a year after hosting an FFA Cup semi-final clash against A-League giants Sydney FC.
Now Olympic coach Frank Cachia has the league championship and another grand final triumph on his radar potentially before taking on the best NPL sides Australia has to offer in September.
Olympic were knocked out of the NPL finals by the Brisbane Strikers last year but this time around they would be playing on their own turf.
The draw has been done and the Canberra league champions will host their Northern NSW counterparts, which could potentially be the Edgeworth Eagles or Lambton Jaffas.
"[The FFA Cup is] such a fantastic concept and it's such a privilege to play in it," Cachia said.
"You get to do things that you don't do normally - you get to travel, you're in the spotlight, you get to put players on the national stage - it's such a great tournament and it's disappointing not to be there.
"But I suppose we can look positively at it and concentrate on what we set out to do at the beginning of the year and win as much as we can in Canberra.
"If we can get through Canberra and start concentrating on that, that would be another national stage that we could look at."
Olympic have lost once in the Capital Football NPL, scoring 44 goals in 11 wins as they charge towards another league championship.
Cachia's side have rarely tasted defeat in the past two seasons, winning three championships in a row and being the last NPL club standing in last year's FFA Cup.
Olympic are six points clear in the race to win the league championship and will look to extend their lead when they host Woden Weston FC on Sunday.
"It's a great profile builder, it builds a lot of momentum, but your bread and butter is here," Cachia said.
"That's first and foremost what you need to achieve, winning what you can here, and that's what we focus on now.
"Hopefully we'll be back up there again next year and seeing if we can progress even further."
