Kenny Nagas' comeback - or the Flash-Back, as it has been termed given his nickname, The Flash - has sparked interest in this month's Auckland Nines rugby league tournament. So we threw out the question, which Raiders legend would you like to see running around again? The clear leader was Ruben Wiki, who is now on the coaching staff at the New Zealand Warriors and looks fitter today than when he retired in 2006. As it turns out, Nagas consulted his good mate before declaring his own comeback intentions, and even tried to coax Wiki, also 41, out of retirement with him. "I kept it quiet because I wasn't quite sure," Nagas said of his desire to play in the Nines. "So I rang Ruben when it was tossed up and said 'I'm thinking about playing, you [the Warriors] are in our pool, I want you to play too. He thought about it for a little while, I kept annoying him and texting him and in the end he said he couldn't do it. But he said, 'I'll run some water to you when we're playing you'." Former Raiders skippers Mal Meninga and Clinton Schifcofske were the other popular players fans would like to see back.
