Their parents used to play as well - safe to say the Floros family is deeply woven into the fabric of the Tuggeranong Valley cricket club.

Benji and Tim's brother Matt is a former Viking, but he's now plying his trade in Brisbane alongside their other brother Jason, who plays for Queensland and the Brisbane Heat.

Benji and Tim will line up for Tuggeranong against Weston Creek Molonglo in the Cricket ACT Douglas Cup grand final at Chisholm Oval in a three-day match beginning on Friday.

The four brothers have all played indoor cricket for Australia, and 18-year-old Benji is starting to make some serious headway in the outdoor game.

His spirited knock of 99 rescued Tuggeranong from a perilous 6-33 in the semi-final, two days before brother Tim was also dismissed one run short of a century.

While Matt and Jason are living in Queensland, they weren't going to miss an opportunity to give their brothers some stick.

"We get all that kind of stuff, good wishes as well," Tim laughed.

"It's good being in a final, and being in it with your family is very special as well."

Benji laughed when it was suggested the club might not go around without the Floros family, and said there is no way he'll be leaving Tuggeranong anytime soon.

Benji is the sixth-leading wicket taker in the competition with 27 and has large shoes to fill with Tuggeranong's import Charlie Morris now back in England.

But Tim Floros is confident the Vikings have the manpower to cover his loss, with Benji and captain Shane Devoy - the competition's leading wicket taker with 44 - taking charge.

Devoy has been on another level this season, starring with the ball and sitting second on the leading run scorers list with 676.

The only person in front of him is Creek skipper John Rogers, who has amassed a staggering 741 runs with three centuries.

To make matters worse for Tuggeranong, Creek pairing Jono Dean (640) and Mark Bennett (618) occupy third and fourth spots on the list.

This one is well and truly the battle of the heavyweights, and fast bowler Benji Floros has been soaking up every bit of information possible leading into his first top grade grand final.

"I've spoken to a fair few of the older, more wise guys around the club and just taking their advice on board," Benji said.

"They've got a very strong line-up so we just need to go to our own processes and bowl to where we need to. Hopefully they crack before we do and we can come out on top."

It is the first time in history that all three grand finals in a season have been contested by the same two teams, with Creek winning the Twenty20 title and Tuggeranong taking the Gallop Cup.

Alexander and Jake Floros will play for Tuggeranong in the second grade decider against Eastlake at Stirling Oval.
