The Tuggeranong import is yet to play at Lords, but a few wickets at the humble Chisholm Oval could help Morris propel Worcestershire back to the hallowed turf.
Morris says "Worcester haven't played a game at Lords for years", and the English one-day cup final looms as their only chance next season.
So the 25-year-old fast bowler is using his return Tuggeranong to rediscover the form that made him a force to be reckoned with on the County Championship scene.
Tuggeranong helped Morris rediscover his love of cricket last season, so flying around the world to come back was simply a "no-brainer".
He will be on hand as Tuggeranong launch their bid for back-to-back one-day John Gallop Cup titles against ANU at ANU North Oval on Saturday.
Morris joined Tuggeranong last season and made an instant impression which led to him being picked up by the ACT Comets for their Sydney Twenty20 Cup campaign.
He racked up 29 wickets for the Vikings and won some silverware while he was at it, so why not come back for another stay with the Barrington's - Morris' "Australian family".
"It beat all my expectations, I love Canberra, I love Tuggeranong cricket club - I've got some really good mates here now and it was a no-brainer to come back," Morris said.
"The club are so friendly, welcoming. The guys train hard, we play hard, but we also have fun, and that's the key at the end of the day. Cricket is a hobby, it's a sport that we all enjoy playing.
"To make sure there is that fun aspect is really important. The balance is definitely right at Tuggies."
The 25-year-old found himself in Canberra thanks to Worcestershire captain and former North Canberra-Gungahlin import Joe Leach last year.
Morris has been left to fly the flag in Canberra, with Leach staying in England this summer after capping off a busy season by signing a three-year deal to stay at the recently promoted Worcestershire.
Morris will be down under until late February before jetting back home to begin pre-season with Worcestershire.
It means he will miss another two-day final should Tuggeranong make it, but that doesn't bother him at all.
Morris was in Abu Dhabi when Devoy lifted the two-day trophy last season, following the results on MyCricket - and he admits he wasn't feeling too good early on.
"I saw the end of the first day, we were slightly behind the eight-ball I think - bowled out and Creek with a 40-run lead going into the second innings," Morris said.
"As soon as I woke up [I saw the result], I don't know what the time zone difference is between Dubai and here, but it was great. I was delighted to see all the guys in the pictures of celebrations."
The semi-finals of the Cricket ACT Regional Twenty20 Cup take place on Sunday, with Wests-UC, Queanbeyan, and ANU looking to take Weston Creek Molonglo's crown.
