Weston Creek Molonglo are through to a record-breaking ninth consecutive Cricket ACT grand final across all formats but skipper John Rogers says they haven't even hit their straps.

They are one step closer to defending their Cricket ACT Regional Twenty20 Cup crown and now Wests-UC is the only thing standing in their way of another title.
Weston Creek Molonglo advanced to the decider after beating ANU by seven runs at Stirling Oval on Sunday.
They'll meet Wests-UC after the Lions continued their stranglehold over Queanbeyan, beating them twice in one weekend to lock up their spot with a thrilling four-wicket win at Jamison Oval.
Wests-UC will be searching for their first top grade Twenty20 title since 2013-14 when they meet the reigning champions in the decider at Manuka Oval next Sunday.
But Rogers knows being grand final regulars doesn't necessarily translate to success - winning just two titles in that stretch.
So Rogers is hoping the mistakes of years gone by will have them primed for glory.
"You play to play in grand finals and the big dance so it's good to be there again," Rogers said.
"We probably haven't hit our straps yet, we've definitely got a bit of work to do and a few things to work on. We'll have a good week on the training paddock this week and hopefully iron those out for the big dance.
"We were in the exact same position this time last year so we're not taking anything for granted. Hopefully we're going to be learning from last year."
ANU finished on 9-141 to give the hosts a serious fright after the favourites posted 8-148 earlier in the day.
Rogers says it could have been a very different story if not for Sam Taylor, who tore through the ANU batting line-up to claim 4-15, and pitched in with two run outs.
Another grand final appearance continues Weston Creek Molonglo's stunning run of success over the past four seasons and Rogers says ANU are on track for something similar.
The Owls boast a relatively young group across the board but Rogers says they're clearly heading in the right direction and a little more experience could go a long way.
"By the looks of it they were very well drilled, they fielded the house down and they bowled very well," Rogers said.
"They were very busy with their batting so with a little bit more experience I think they're heading in the right direction."
Randall Starr is the most experienced campaigner in ANU's first grade line-up and led from the front with a rollicking 47 (23) that gave Rogers a scare.
Rogers says it was made even more impressive by the fact he tweaked his quadricep in the field, "then he hobbled out and just swung from the hip which is really what he does best".
Wests-UC toppled Queanbeyan with four balls remaining to book their ticket to the grand final with Tom Engelbrecht (47*) steering the Lions home.
