In a repeat of last month's rescheduled regional Twenty20 final, the two sides will square off under the lights of Manuka Oval in the Gallop Cup one-day decider on Sunday.
After Weston Creek were in the box seat when the Twenty20 final was washed out, Queanbeyan scraped by with a thrilling two-run victory in the replay despite Creek's Sam Taylor's smashing 34 runs off the last over.
Creek's chances of squaring the ledger have taken a blow with Jono Dean off to the Adelaide Sixers for the Big Bash, Blake Dean out for the next month with a shoulder injury, ACT/NSW Country under-19 representative Mac Wright unavailable, and fast bowler Djali Bloomfield out with an ankle injury.
But such is Creek's immense depth they welcome back Kevin Jacobs, Mark Bennett and Sam Taylor, all who missed their semi-final victory against Wests/UC.
Queanbeyan batsman Dean Solway said Creek still presented a tough challenge despite the players who were missing.
"Obviously that's handy with a few key outs for them with both Dean brothers and Mac Wright and a few of their good players, but nothing really changes for us," Solway said.
"We've still got to put in a good performance if we want to win.
"We do have bragging rights a little bit with the big win in the T20 final, but it all starts again on Sunday."
It's the same attitude from Creek, with batsman Robbie Trickett confident the players who have been called into the side can step up.
"Obviously they are outstanding players and Jono is off to the Big Bash, but we feel with Kevin Jacobs coming back in and Mark Bennett and Sam Taylor, we've got a pretty strong team," Trickett said.
"We'll just play our roles and see how we go.
"We're just excited to have another crack at Queanbeyan in an final."
Queanbeyan will also be drawing heavily on their quality slow-bowling attack of Mark Higgs, Mark Solway and Simon Fahey.
"Spin is a massive part of our attack, so we need our spinners to bowl well to create pressure and will play a significant part in us winning the game," Dean Solway said.
