Almost 30 athletes from the ACT competed in Glasgow, with the majority of these athletes supported by the ACT Academy of Sport.

Those include Anna Flanagan and Edwina Bone from the gold-medal winning Hockeyroos, and Andrew Charter from the triumphant Kookaburras team.

Swimmer Ben Treffers also collected gold with his victory in the men's 50-metre backstroke.

Treffers also won silver in the men's 4x100 medley, while Brandie O'Connor (cycling), Nathan Hart (cycling), Paul Kennedy (cycling), Thomas Clarke (cycling), Kelsey-Lee Roberts (athletics) and Tom Cusack (rugby 7's) took home bronze medals.
