Brumbies sing for supper and Pocock's embarrassing moment

What do Taylor Swift, Joseph Tomane, Home and Away and a David Pocock story you won't believe have in common? In a series of video snippets for The Canberra Times, the Brumbies open up about their off-field secrets, superstitions and most embarrassing moments. Pocock is out injured at the moment, recovering from an ankle syndesmosis problem. What's the most embarrassing moment of his career? "It would have to be, I don't know what year it was, but we were playing with the Force in Bloemfontein," Pocock said. "I had diarrhoea the whole week leading up to the game and I think it was 10 minutes into the second half ... things didn't go well for me. I had to play the game out until the end." Winger Joseph Tomane is aiming for World Cup selection this year, but Taylor Swift songs are his guilty pleasure. "I don't care, I love Taylor. Taylor's my girl," Tomane said before breaking into a rendition of Shake It Off. The surprising pre-game meal of choice for most players was pancakes while rookie prop Allan Alaalatoa was devastated when a Home and Away heartthrob left the show this year and Tom Staniforth is a self-confessed "mummy's boy". To check out Pocock's story, the singing skills of Tomane, Scott Sio, Henry Speight and Ruan Smith and which Brumby entered the Canberra Show baking contest, watch for their profiles online throughout the year. If you think you know the Brumbies players, think again.
