Don't be surprised if the Australian Sevens recruiters come sniffing around Brumbies headquarters for players to boost their Olympic Games qualification hopes. Former Sevens player Robbie Coleman signed a new deal with the Brumbies last week, turning down the chance to make a full-time move to Sevens. But it's understood Super Rugby clubs are willing to help out the Olympic hopes. Australia's plans to get a medal at Rio next year hang in the balance after a poor world series campaign, leaving their chances lying with a Oceania qualifying tournament in November. Coleman could still suit up for the Sevens, while wingers Henry Speight and Joseph Tomane are also on the radar if coach Geraint John comes knocking. Meanwhile, the Brumbies are also working on deals to play a pre-season game in Hong Kong as well as a mid-year clash against a French opponent in Singapore.
