A bumper week of rowing in the capital is set to continue with the ACT Head of the Lake school's regatta taking place on Saturday.

The event will see 599 rowers compete at the regatta with students from Canberra Girls Grammar, Canberra Grammar, Daramalan, Radford and Marist leading the local contingent.
Interstate rivals Cranbrook School, Kinross Wolaroi School, Redlands, Roseville College and Monivae College - one of Daramalan's sister schools - will also be vying for gold.
It comes a week after Australian men's four crew star Alexander Hill fired an ominous warning to anyone that wants to dethrone the reigning world champions by winning two gold medals in a day at the ACT rowing championships.
Hill and Spencer Turrin combined to win gold in the pairs event and right behind them were silver medallists Jack Hargreaves and Joshua Hicks - Hill and Turrin's fellow world title-winning crew members.
The action begins at 7.30am at Lake Burley Griffin.
