Nick Kyrgios found himself in a feud with Canadian rapper Drake when the host of the upcoming ESPN sports awards threatened to "size up" the Canberra teen "and then chop him right down".
Drake was responding to a quip Kyrgios made about a slow start to his third-round Wimbledon match against fellow wildcard Jiri Vesily after listening to Drake’s music as he went onto court.
"I came out really flat, so hopefully I won’t listen to that again. It was actually Drake. Didn’t do the job for me," Kyrgios said after the match.

He had lost the first set 3-6 before going on to win the match in four sets, but even his next round defeat of world-number one Rafael Nadal didn’t win Drake over as a fan.
Ahead of hosting ESPN’s award show, the ESPYS, Drake was asked which sports stars he was hoping to meet, with the 27-year-old rapper singling out Kyrgios.
"I also want to meet this guy that says that he lost because he listened to my music," he said
"I want to meet that guy and look him in the eye and see exactly who he is as a man and size him up and then chop him right down. Nick whatever-his-name-is — ‘cause he didn’t win, so that’s how he’s going to be remembered: ‘Nick whatever-his-name-is’."
Kyrgios – who stands 193cm tall, or 6 foot 4 - didn’t bite back, hosing down the feud by declaring himself still a fan.
"Let's be clear. I like @Drake - love his music, just said I was a little flat, ended up winning that match. No blame game here," he said via Twitter.

Kyrgios is just the latest person to get in a stoush with the rapper.
Drake, who used to date pop star Rihanna, has a whole section in his Wikipedia entry devoted to his feuds, all with fellow rappers including Pusha T, Ludacris and Rihanna’s ex-boyfriend, Chris Brown.
