After losing to North Canberra Gungahlin last month, Queanbeyan can qualify for its second decider when it takes on Wests/UC in Sunday's Gallop Cup semi-final at Jamison Oval.
Queanbeyan upset Weston Creek Molonglo in the semi-finals of the regional Twenty20 cup before a sparking 60 from 38 balls from Scotland batsman George Munsey guided Norths to a six-wicket win in the final.
Taylor said there was no shortage of motivation heading into the semi-finals of the Gallop Cup.
"The boys are a bit sore from losing the T20, so we want to make a good impression and see if we can go all the way in the one-dayers," Taylor said.
"Realistically we probably played our grand final the game before against Weston Creek but the boys did well.
"
"We were written off at the start of the season as being no chance but I think we've shown a few critics wrong and obviously we're in the finals in all three forms, so I'm pretty proud of the boys."
Queanbeyan will be without opening batsman Henry Hunt, who is with the ACT/NSW Country team at the under-19 national championships in Adelaide.
But the Bluebags still have the service of all-rounder Ed Barnard before he returns to England for preseason training in February.
"If we make the one-day final he'd be there for that but he misses the majority of the two-day finals," Taylor said.
"It's been massive to have someone of his quality who has played for his country at under-19 level.
"He's been good with the ball and starting to get a few runs with the bat."
Weston Creek hosts Norths at Stirling Oval in the other Gallop Cup semi-final.
Queanbeyan can consolidate second place on the Douglas Cup ladder when its first day of a two-day game with Weston Creek starts on Saturday at Stirling.
In other games, Ginninderra hosts Eastlake at Kippax, Norths entertains Wests/UC at Harrison and ANU takes on Tuggeranong at ANU North.
