Capital Football National Premier League clubs have agreed on a partial truce to play against the Canberra United Academy, but haven't ruled out boycotting games.

The clubs released a joint statement on Thursday afternoon confirming they will fulfil their commitments for their games with the CU Academy for the opening nine rounds.
A meeting will be held next week between the clubs and Capital Football with the aim of thrashing out an agreement to suit both parties.
"Following on from initial discussions this week, the NPL clubs have agreed to play Canberra United Academy sides in the first half of the Capital Football NPL competition as a show of good faith towards the FFA and the new Capital Football CEO, who will be both present at meetings on Tuesday, April 12," the statement read.
"The clubs have been provided with assurances from the Capital Football board that all issues will be ratified next week and we hope to make a joint statement in regards to a positive future for football in the Canberra region."
Capital Football was unavailable for comment.
It's understood clubs are unwilling to forfeit games against the CU Academy to avoid giving Belconnen United a big advantage in the race for the league championship.
Belconnen United smashed the CU Academy 7-1 in the opening round of the men's NPL last weekend to put the competition's other seven clubs on notice.
Tuggeranong United, who boycotted a scheduled pre-season game with the CU Academy, will host them at Kambah on Sunday.
Clubs had threatened to boycott all games against the CU Academy after alleging Capital Football had gone back on its word to allow representatives positions on the board.
Capital Football rebranded its junior programs under the CU Academy banner in line with similar initiatives across the country.
