While it isn't eligible to play in the finals, the FFA COE is in the mix to finish on top of the table at the end of the regular season.
The FFA COE is fourth on the ladder on 21 points in one of the tightest competitions in recent memory, with four points separating the top six.
Tigers FC (five games remaining) and Belconnen United (four) share the lead on 24 points, Canberra FC (six) is on 22, followed by the FFA COE and Gungahlin United on 21 and Canberra Olympic on 20.
The FFA COE, Gungahlin United and Canberra Olympic all have four games left.
Woden Weston FC is seventh on the table on eight points and will be aiming to stay ahead of the Monaro Panthers (eight points) and Tuggeranong United (zero) to avoid the wooden spoon.
In Sunday's fixtures, Canberra FC can keep the heat on the top two when it takes on Gungahlin United at Deakin Stadium, Tigers FC hosts Tuggeranong and Monaro entertains Olympic at Riverside Stadium.
All games are at 3pm.
