The visitors could only post a small total of 8-112 from their 20 overs under the lights at Lavington Oval, Sam Thornton smashing 24 from just eight balls and Benji Floros and Michael Barrington-Smith chipping in with 24 and 20 respectively.
But it proved to be enough as Tuggeranong's bowlers did a fantastic job, Floros finishing with the impressive figures of 3-16 from his four overs and Luke Ryan chiming in with 2-17.
Albury Wodonga were cruising at 1-44 before they lost three wickets for three runs before another collapse at the end of their innings had it finish at 9-100.
Queanbeyan couldn't replicate Tuggeranong's success on Sunday when they had a six-wicket loss to Albury Wodonga.
Chris Russo's 43 from 49 balls anchored Queanbeyan's innings of 5-140, with the hosts chasing down the runs with six wickets in the shed.
Mark Solway was the best of Queanbeyan's bowlers with 2-29 from three overs.
In Sunday's other games, North Canberra Gungahlin (6-182) continued their strong start to the season with a 58-run win against South Coast (5-124).
ANU (5-139) also beat South Coast (8-138) by five wickets in the afternoon's game.
