The 25-year-old reached his century in just 34 balls before being dismissed for 129 off 50 balls for Weston Creek Molonglo in a division three Twenty20 game against the Australian Army at Jamison Oval on Thursday night.
Older brothers, Adelaide Strikers opener Jono and all-rounder Blake Dean, will aim to make it a perfect six from six for Weston Creek in the Gallop Cup when it takes on North Canberra Gungahlin on Saturday.
Blake Dean has been in superb form for Weston Creek in the first-grade competition, while Adelaide Strikers opener Jono belted a century last weekend in perfect preparation for the Big Bash League.
Blake also had a run in the domestic Twenty20 competition with the Sydney Thunder last season.
"To see Jono and Blake get up there in the Big Bash is unbelievable, to see all their training and hard work pay off," Callum said.
"It even gives you a second wind to try your heart out and have a crack."
Callum smashed 10 sixes in his entertaining knock, starting at a cracking pace to reach his half-century in just 16 balls.
It's his first season back playing cricket after giving the game away seven years ago.
It was during a trip this year to visit older brother Blake during his playing stint in Wales that he rekindled the passion.
"It's mostly all Blake that has got me back playing," Callum said.
"He's probably been responsible for 90 per cent of it ... he's had my back and he's leant me his gear.
"Without him I probably wouldn't be playing."
Meanwhile, former Eastlake and ACT under-19s batsman Alex Ross has signed with the Adelaide Strikers for the upcoming BBL.
It is Ross' first BBL contract, building on from his strong form for South Australia in the national one-day competition.
Wests/UC fast bowler Ben Oakley has missed out on retaining his spot with the Strikers.
In other Gallop Cup games, it's second against third when Wests/UC hosts Eastlake at Jamison, Ginninderra takes on ANU at Kippax and Queanbeyan entertains Tuggeranong at Freebody Oval.
SATURDAY: Gallop Cup one-day competition: Ginninderra v ANU at Kippax. North Canberra Gungahlin v Weston Creek Molonglo at Harrison. Wests/UC v Eastlake at Jamison. Queanbeyan v Tuggeranong at Freebody. All games at 11am.
