Lake Ginninderra College guard Dejan Vasiljevic has lined up three visits to American colleges in January as US scouts cast their eye over Australian basketball talent.

The best up and coming stars from across the country are in action in Canberra this week at the Australian Schools Championships.
Vasiljevic and his Australian under-19s teammate Jack White are leading the Lake Ginninderra team after spending the past two years at the Basketball of Australia Centre of Excellence at the AIS.
They are aiming to help Lake Ginninderra to its first national title since 2013 when the team was led by former NBA No 5 draft pick Dante Exum.
After that, Vasiljevic will look to make a good impression when he meets with three NCAA division one schools in the US.
"I'm going to visit Miami, Stanford and Texas in January," Vasiljevic said.
"I'll try and play my hardest this week.
"It's a high-school tournament and a lot of college scouts look at it."
A 1.86m shooting guard from Victoria, Vasiljevic has also attracted offers from Winthrop, Washington State, Minnesota and LSU - the same college where fellow Australian Ben Simmons is creating headlines.
Vasiljevic and White were in the starting line-up for the Australian under-19 side which reached the quarter-finals of this year's world championships.
White, a 2m forward, has attracted interest from Mercer, Loyola Marymount, Albany and Boise State.
Another to watch is 1.95m guard Will McDowell-White, the son of former AFL star Darryl White, who is playing for Townsville school Ignatius Park College.
Canberra's Bul Kuol could also come on to the radar.
The Sudanese-born big man made a blistering start to the tournament with a game-high 30 points and nine rebounds in Lake Ginninderra's 96-65 win against Marcellin on Monday.
"We've got really good guys on the team so we're really competitive," Kuol said.
"We've got the right personalities on this team for me to fit in."
Lake Ginninderra coach Jason Denley said the standard of the tournament had improved greatly in the 10 years he has been involved.
"Gone are the days of the public school sport high school competing," Denley said.
"It's all of these private schools because they are fantastic programs and really talented kids with good coaching and good support.
"It's just going to get tougher as the week goes on so they'll be some fun games during the week."
Lake Ginninderra College remained unbeaten with a comfortable 119-65 win against Concordia College on Tuesday.
Vasiljevic was unstoppable with a game-high 37 points, including five three-pointers, while Jack White was also dominant, with 31 points and 14 rebounds.
