Canberra Capitals mid-season recruit DeNesha Stallworth has vowed to pour all of her energy into breaking the club's record losing streak after watching one game from the stands in Queensland last week.

The struggling Capitals are still winless after 19 games this year, and are desperately chasing a breakthrough win when they play the Adelaide Lightning at the AIS Arena on Sunday.
Stallworth was brought in halfway through the campaign to bolster the under-sized Capitals' roster after she parted ways with the South East Queensland Stars.
She missed the clash against the Stars last weekend as part of the terms and conditions of her contract release, and was helpless as the Capitals went down 115-75.
"It's been really refreshing [moving to Canberra] ... when I left [the Stars], that was it for me," Stallworth said.
"I wasn't worried what anyone thought of me, because if you do that then you start to lose confidence in yourself.
"Whatever happened with SEQ stayed there and I refused to bring that to Canberra. The negative energy is there, I'm in a positive environment and I have no worries about the past. I'm here to play basketball, to do a job."
The Capitals have five games left in their disastrous season, and they'll be without Stallworth for one of those when they clash with the Stars again on February 14.
But Stallworth's focus is on the immediate challenge, and that's taking on the Lightning in Canberra's return to the AIS Arena after a month on the road or at temporary homes Tuggeranong or Belconnen.
The Lightning sit one spot ahead of the Capitals on the ladder, but have won six of their games this year.
Stallworth has provided significant impact in her seven games for Canberra, averaging almost 19 points per match and taking the pressure of Abby Bishop's shoulders.
"I just try to do my best in any situation, hopefully we can get the win and things work out the way we want them to," Stallworth said.
"It's definitely been hard, but when you're around nice people they try to lift you up and that's what's happening.
"We don't have a lot of 'Debbie Downers', we just want to win. Hopefully some good things can happen. We're confident what we're doing will eventually pay off."
The Capitals grabbed just one offensive rebound in their 40-point loss to the Stars last weekend with Stallworth out of action.
"We match up really well against Adelaide," said coach Carrie Graf.
"[Stallworth's] numbers speak for themselves. She gets double-teamed inside and finds a way to finish, she's definitely added that piece to our team.
"Abby was doing it solo for a while there so Nene's definitely had the impact for us."
