The Gunners (7-10) have hit a hot patch of form, winning four of their past five games going into Saturday night's clash at the Belconnen Basketball Stadium.
However, they are still sitting in last position in the South pool and must maintain their momentum to keep themselves in the hunt for the play-offs.
It won't be an easy task though against a Spectres side with a 12-4 record, good enough for second in the East division.
The Gunners will be hoping for another big game from import Garlon Green, who had 25 points on 12-23 shooting in last weekend's 77-75 victory over the Kilsyth Cobras on the road.
The game tips-off at 7.30pm, with the Canberra Capitals Academy (1-15) to take on Nunawading in the women's game at 5.30pm.
