Dante Exum has entered a critical phase in his bid to break into the top three picks in this month's NBA Draft.
The 18-year-old from Melbourne will sit down for an interview and conduct a workout with the Milwaukee Bucks this weekend, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported. The Bucks have the second pick in the June 26 draft.
Exum also has workouts and interviews lined up with former Boomer head coach Brett Brown's Philadelphia 76ers, owners of the third pick, and the Orlando Magic, who have the fourth selection.
The 198 centimetre tall guard is considered the likely fourth pick, but impressive workouts could leapfrog him to the second or third selection.
The Cleveland Cavaliers have the top pick and appear to be honing in on forward Andrew Wiggins or centre Joel Embiid, both stars from Kansas University. The other player likely to squeeze Exum out of the top three is Duke forward Jabari Parker.
