Australia's female boxers have confidently declared they will win a "bucket load of medals" at the Commonwealth Games next year as they ride a wave of support to the Gold Coast.

Boxing Australia announced a 13-strong men's and women's contingent to chase medals in April, with 12 athletes competing at their first Commonwealth Games.
The only boxer with Commonwealth Games experience, Kaye Scott, is adamant Australia can be a dominant force after winning two gold and one silver three years ago.
"I feel a little bit differently about it this time, a bit more of a developed athlete and much more mature coming into it. It's not just the excitement of the Games, I know I'm in medal contention," Scott said.
"The confidence level of all of the girls in the team, we know can bring home a medal each. It's very exciting.
"We know each other really well now. We're confident in our ability and we know we've got an extra advantage with a [home crowd] to take it to the next level.
"We'll be getting more than one gold medal, guaranteed. We'll be bringing back a big bucket load of medals. We've got a really strong team."
Scott was one of the first female boxers in Australia seven years ago and the 33-year-old is viewed as a leader of a emerging group to compete at teh Commonwealth games.
She will be joined by Skye Nicolson, Taylah Robertson, Anja Stridsman and Caitlin Parker in the women's team, while former Melbourne Storm player Toese Vousiutu is part of an eight-strong men's team.
Nicolson will be following in the footsteps of her late brother, Jamie, who won a bronze medal at the 1990 Commonwealth Games.
Nicolson won bronze at the world championships last year, 27 years after her brother achieved the same feat.
The 22-year-old has relocated from the Gold Coast to Canberra to ramp up her training, but is itching to get in front of a home crowd next year.
"It was relief. Relief was the only thing I felt after I qualified for the Commonwealth Games," Nicolson said.
"It was like a weight was lifted off my shoulder and now the excitement is kicking in more and more as teh weeks go by.
"There's definitely high pressure in my home town, but pressure that I thrive on. I love it. I love the expectation of winning, it pushes me harder and harder."
