Fans who don't have a ticket to Tuesday's Prime Minister's XI match against England at Manuka Oval will have to log on to the Cricket Australia website. Cricket Australia will pick up the costs to live stream the game, which last year was shown on Fox Sports.

However, with the pay-TV provider losing the rights to domestic cricket this season, the PM's XI game was unable to secure a broadcast partner.

The success of the BBL has played a part in Fox Sports being unwilling to go up against the ratings behemoth.

The domestic Twenty20 competition has attracted more than a million viewers per game since it has moved to Channel Ten.

The BBL match between the Melbourne Renegades and the Sydney Thunder at Etihad Stadium is scheduled on the same day as the PM's XI game.

Vision from the PM's XI game will still be made available for news highlights packages around the country.

The reduced coverage could hinder the chances of emerging players hoping to make an impact with a big performance against England.
