Canberra cricketer Jason Floros is on the lookout for a new Big Bash League team after parting ways with the Sydney Thunder but the all-rounder's immediate focus is helping the Queensland Bulls to a third straight domestic one-day title.

There is better news for Nick Winter, the former Eastlake left-arm paceman who has signed a BBL contract with the Melbourne Renegades.
Winter is in South Australia's squad for the Matador One-Day Cup, while Floros is in the Bulls side which is aiming to win a third straight 50-over title and starts its defence against Victoria at the Gabba on Saturday.
There is a strong ACT presence in the competition, with Alex Ross (South Australia), Ryan Carters (NSW) and Jason Behrendorff (WA) all hoping to contest the final on October 26.
While Floros is expected to play a prominent role for Queensland, the former Australian under-19s representative is yet to lock in a spot for the upcoming Twenty20 tournament after playing the past two summers with the Thunder, who won just one game last season.
"I'm not with the Thunder at this stage, I'm still working through a couple of little contracts and hopefully be able to make an announcement in the next couple of weeks," Floros said.
"It's a pretty tough environment when you're not winning.
"Hopefully I'll get a fresh start at another franchise this year."
Winter, 21, joins an experienced side featuring Test bowlers Peter Siddle and James Pattinson along with Australian Twenty20 skipper Aaron Finch.
"It came out of the blue a little bit, but I'll take it with both hands, so I'm looking forward to it come December and January," Winter said.
"I think they were looking for some younger guys and a left-armer so I fit that bill.
"It's going to be pretty awesome to be under Finch's control, and there's Siddle, Pattinson, Jesse Ryder from New Zealand, Matt Wade and some of the South Australia boys are going there as well."
Winter is in Brisbane with the Redbacks and could feature in their opening round game against NSW at Allan Border Field on Saturday.
Floros has been among the runs and wickets for his club side in Brisbane heading into his sixth season as part of the Bulls' squad, and captained a second-string Queensland side against Ireland on Thursday.
Expectations could not be higher on the Bulls as they try to win their third straight one-day title.
"We love being the favourites," Floros said.
"We put that expectation on ourselves and it drives us to play better and to make sure our standards are what they should be.
"It's pretty historic to win three in a row, so everyone wants to be a part of it."
