Cricket Australia has refused to comment on whether board member Tony Harrison's position is untenable after he took a swipe at Canberra's aspirations of hosting Test cricket.

Another small crowd of just 5071 showed up on Friday for the second day of the first Test between Australia and the West Indies at Blundstone Arena, taking the total to 10,998.
Fairfax Media understands Canberra officials believe they could expect a crowd of up to 35,000 for a Test match at Manuka Oval.
A Cricket Australia spokesperson told Fairfax Media he would politely decline to comment on Harrison's remarks.
Harrison stepped down from his role with Cricket Tasmania so he could maintain a place on the streamlined nine-person Cricket Australia board when it became independent in 2012.
Cricket ACT submitted two nominations for one of the three "elected" positions on the board out of more than 100 applications from around Australia.
The board was made independent to deliver the best outcomes for the game and not simply voting along state lines.
But Harrison clearly forgot the memo when he took offence at Canberra presenting a strong business case for Test cricket.
"I have read comments like 'We deserve the Test, Hobart doesn't' kind of thing, I don't think that's helpful," Harrison told the ABC.
"We are going through a process in Australian cricket at the moment called One Team, which is the states and Cricket Australia all acting as one, and what has disturbed me most out of Canberra is that it is hardly 'one team' behaviour.
"We [CA] spent a lot of money and effort getting this One Team thing going, and here instantly we have an issue ... I think that is disappointing."
The Cricket Australia board was cut from 14 people to nine when it became independent in 2012.
Former Rio Tinto chief executive David Peever succeeded Wally Edwards as chairman this year.
Peever is joined on the board by John Bannon (South Australia), Earl Eddings (Victoria), Harrison (Tasmania), Jacquie Hey, former Australian fast bowler Michael Kasprowicz (Queensland) and former Australian opener Mark Taylor (NSW).
The three "elected" positions on the board in 2012 were filled by Peever, Jacquie Hey and Kevin Roberts.
Roberts has since stood down to become Cricket Australia's executive general manager of strategy, people and one team.
Edwards has also retired after 19 years of service on the board.
Michelle Tredenick and Dr Bob Every were appointed in November to replace Roberts and Edwards.
Tredenick is an experienced company director and corporate advisor with more than 30 years of experience in Australian businesses and is a currently a director of the Bank of Queensland.
Dr Every recently retired as a non-executive chairman of Wesfarmers, one of Australia's largest public companies.
Speaking on ABC's Grandstand on Friday, Cricket Australia chief executive James Sutherland was asked if there were tensions between Hobart and Canberra.
"Only in so far as I don't see it as being a Hobart, Canberra confrontation if you like," Sutherland said.
"The way we look at it from our perspective is we need to make decisions on balance in the best interests of Australian cricket.
"The good thing is all cricket venues are attracting more cricket fans to their grounds than they ever have before.
"If you go back three or four years, Manuka was approved as an international venue and since then it has hosted international cricket very, very successfully.
"Some ways, it lays its own case."
