Jordan will be looking to shake up the Prime Minister's XI with some hostile quick bowling if he is selected for Tuesday's one-day match at Manuka Oval.

The 25-year-old's performance in Sunday night's loss to Australia in the opening game of the limited overs series was one of the few bright spots for the tourist. He bowled with plenty of pace and was unlucky not to have a better return than 1-50 from his 10 overs.

It was just his second one-day international appearance for his adopted country. The Barbados-born Jordan moved to England in 2006 and is eligible for selection through his grandmother.

While he is fast becoming one of the most promising players in England, it is hard to imagine he will top the feats of his famous classmate.

Rihanna is a worldwide phenomenon, but it does not mean Jordan has her tunes locked into his headphones before every match.

''Never know, depends on how I feel when I wake up in the morning,'' he said. ''She's a very good girl. When I go back to Barbados we see each other.''

Australian fast bowling great and PM's XI captain Brett Lee spoke with Jordan on Monday and praised his performance.

''I like the way he runs in; he's got a lot of aggression, he's got that pace,'' Lee said.

''It was the first time I'd seen him bowl live and as the tournament goes on I think he'll gain a lot of experience from the game last night.

''Someone that has got serious raw pace and they can swing the ball away, they're going to get a lot of wickets.''

Jordan made his international debut in the one-day series with Australia in England in September and has his sights set on next year's World Cup.

''I just want to take each game as it comes, stay grounded and see where we end up at the end of this series,'' he said.

''The conscious decision was to stay natural and bowl fast and, hopefully, I can continue that.''
