Tiger Woods' chances of winning a 15th major championship nosedived early in the final round of the US Open at the Olympic Club in California.
Woods opened with a bogey on each of the first two holes before a double bogey on the third and a further bogey on the fifth dropped him 10 shots back of overnight leaders Jim Furyk and Graeme McDowell.
Australian John Senden opened with two solid pars to remain four shots off the lead in a tie for sixth as he chased a maiden major and the country's first since 2006.
