FRANKEL is capable of taking his rating to even more astonishing levels, according to the British Horseracing Authority's handicapper, who allotted the colt a mark of 138 for his victory at Newbury at the weekend.
The decision to raise him 0.9 kilograms from last season's 136 makes Frankel officially the highest-rated horse in the world for 25 years.
He is now rated 2.72 kilograms higher than the second-placed horse, Australia's unbeaten champion Black Caviar (132).
