That is if Andrew Machin and Brandon Sosoli can win their respective semi-finals and get through to the final of the Storm Damage eliminator grand prix final in Tuggeranong on Saturday night.
Machin will attempt to draw on the home-town crowd support in his quest to record back-to-back victories inside the steel cage and claim the heavyweight championship at the Southern Cross Basketball Stadium.
He takes on Mathew Wade in the first eliminator, with the winner to take on either Sosoli or James Lane.
Machin (6-2) is hoping to avenge a last-start loss to Felise Leniu at last December's Brace for War when the doctor stopped the brutal brawl in the third and final round.
He had previously beaten Wollongong's Sosoli in a majority decision last August, and Storm Damage promoter Storm Oysher is desperate for the pair to square off again.
''From a promoter's standpoint, I'd love to see Andrew and Brandon in the final,'' Oysher said.
''Their last fight was sensational to watch, and I'd tip it'd be just as tough this time around.
''But saying that, it won't be an easy task for either of them to get through their first fights.''
While fans love the elimination format, Oysher admitted it was a nightmare to find fighters willing to put their bodies on the line several times on one night.
''It's tough for the guys, but the fans get to know a fighter during the night,'' he said.
''It's a format which is really popular.''
Machin is one of five Canberrans on the 13-fight card, along with Michelle Peruzzi (80kg), Julian Anczewski (90kg), Ugur Kocak (115kg) and Sean Godkin (80kg).
Doors open at 6pm, with the first fight at 7pm.
