The immediate playing future of Matildas and Canberra United goalkeeper Lydia Williams is in doubt after she suffered a knee injury during a game in the US on Sunday.

Playing for the Western New York Flash in the National Women's Soccer League, Williams was forced to leave the game against the Washington Spirit in the 13th minute.
Williams went up to claim a corner and landed awkwardly on her left knee.
The 26-year-old has a history of knee injuries after she tore her anterior cruciate ligament in 2012.
Canberra United chief executive Heather Reid posted on Twitter that Williams would be unlikely to line up in the W-League for the 2014-15 season.
If scans reveal Williams has torn her ACL again, she would be in a race against the clock to be fit for next year's women's World Cup in Canada from June 6 to July 5.
Losing Williams would be a massive blow for the Matildas and Canberra United.
She was a standout performer in Australia's silver-medal winning run at this year's Asian Cup and is a two-time W-League goalkeeper of the year.
