"You're only allowed two Tom Rogic questions this morning," Postecoglou joked on Monday.

"Make them good ones."

Rogic is set to feature front and centre for the Socceroos when the national team ends a four-year absence from the national capital on November 12.

The storyline is a promoter's dream - the Canberra kid who has overcome the adversity of an injury-ravaged past two years to once again show why he's one of Australia's hottest footballing talents.

Still only 22, Rogic continued his stunning resurgence when he scored a goal and set up another in Celtic's 6-0 thumping of Dundee in the Scottish Premier League on Sunday night (AEST).

"I stayed up and watched the game," Postecoglou said.

"He's in a good space. He's feeling really happy about his progress. His body's good, that's the only thing that's held him back. Undeniably, he's a great talent. It was great having him in camp the last two games. He looked like his old self.

"His best is well ahead of him. He's still a young man. When you look at the injuries he's had in terms of his career, he's still got a long way to go. For me, just seeing him back on the park with a smile on his face, but as far as where his best is, I don't think anyone knows. But he's certainly got off to a good start the last few weeks."

Rogic is expected to be back in action for the Socceroos when they travel to Jordan for a tricky away assignment on October 9.

"Any time we have a World Cup qualifying game, regardless of the opponent, you can learn and develop as a team because the result is the most important thing," Postecoglou said.

"For us, we've been progressing okay so far, the first three games we've obviously won.

"We want to dominate our home games and I think the one down here in Canberra will be a really good test for us."

Tickets for the Socceroos v Kyrgyzstan game go on sale to the "football family", including Capital Football members, on Tuesday morning at 11am.

A $99 family ticket is available only to the football family, while adult tickets to the general public range from $50 to $95.

Tickets to the general public go on sale on Friday.

FFA chief executive David Gallop said a big crowd would encourage more games to be brought to Canberra in the future.

"It's a chance for people to vote with their feet and show us they want to see the Socceroos more often," Gallop said.

"When the Socceroos are at home, it's a rare thing, they come from all corners of the globe.

"If we get close to a packed house, there's no reason why we won't bring the Socceroos back here."
