Sara Collins, Taylah Hill, Ben Smith, Elias Murray, William Hill, Thomas Phelps, Matthew Phung, Patrick Hill, Daniel Rustitovic and Vu Pham all took home gold in their respective classes.
Collins took out the under 70-kilogram senior women's division and she and the other nine Canberrans are perfectly placed to earn selection for the Oceania titles, to be held in Cairns in April.
She was one of 400 competitors who descended on Tuggeranong for the two-day event, making it the largest Judo ACT has held.
There were children as young as nine, up to competitors in their 40s.
Judo means the ''gentle way'' but there was nothing gentle about the competitive spirit shown by the athletes, known as judokas.
Judo ACT president Midge Hill said Collins' victory wasn't unexpected.
''We were hoping she would win. She is No.1 in that division but it's a funny game,'' Hill said.
