On Wednesday December 19, 2012 I will be teaming up with Pastor John Evans, this column's bushwalking correspondent extraordinaire, for a special free evening walk hosted by the Canberra Bushwalking Club.
It will be a short ramble to three points of interest recently featured in this column.
First, we'll check-out the remains of the old cross-country horse course in north Watson and then clamber up the slopes of Mount Majura to the 300-metre-long dry stone wall that lies hidden on its northern slopes. At the top, while catching our breath, we'll check-out the knock-out tree house hidden among a stand of Kurrajongs that featured in last week's column. Walk is about 3 kilometres and involves a 170 metre climb. All welcome. To register your interest, contact John on email@example.com or 0417 436 877.
