Bandidos bikie enforcer Toby Mitchell has been arrested and charged after his Docklands apartment was searched by police holding a firearms search warrant.

Police said that a "senior Bandidos Outlaw Motorcycle Club member" was charged with possessing the proceeds of crime and possession of a prohibited weapon after anti-bikie task force members found a "conducted energy device" and a large amount of cash at his Waterview Walk apartment.

Fairfax Media has confirmed that the man is Mitchell, who was shot outside a gym in Brunsnwick in November last year.

The bikie lost a kidney, had significant damage to his liver and suffered damage to his wrist after the shooting, for which nobody has been charged.
