A man has been charged with drink-driving after allegedly driving to a bottle shop with a blown tyre and a blood-alcohol reading four times the legal limit.
Police were called to the bottle shop in Dingley Village, in Melbourne's south-east, about 3.30pm on Friday.
The 39-year-old Parkdale man was given a breath test, in which he recorded a blood-alcohol reading of 0.219, police say.
He was charged with drink driving and his license was immediately suspended.
Police are urging anyone who saw a blue 1994 Toyota Camry in the area of Boundary Road, Dingley just before 3.30pm Friday to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or via www.crimestoppers.com.au.
