Two adrenaline junkies have been busted riding dangerously after they uploaded footage of their suburban daredevil antics online.
Police gave the 19-year-old Frankston South man and the 17-year-old Frankston boy on-the-spot fines for riding unregistered motorbikes when one of them crashed in Adib Court, Frankston North, on March 25.
The fines were later canceled and search warrants executed when police found GoPro helmet-camera footage the pair had posted on Facebook that showed them riding dangerously.
"The behaviour recorded appears reckless in the extreme to the extent to which it placed themselves and other road users at risk," State Highway Patrol Senior Sergeant Dan Hilton said.
"Police actively monitor social media to identify behaviour that demonstrates a disregard for the safety of other road users and on this occasion assists in the investigation of that behaviour."
Both were interviewed in relation to conduct endangering others and road offences. They are expected to be charged on summons.
