Hercules aircraft over Melbourne

A C130 Hercules flies over Melbourne to promote the Point Cook Airshow on March 1st.

Twin Hercules aircraft flew low over Melbourne yesterday in  a preview for the upcoming Centenary of Military Aviation Air Show at Point Cook.

The Hercules  flew over Port Phillip Bay, before turning towards  the CBD, flying  at  a mere 300 to 450 metres.

The aircraft  completed two 10-minute loops past the MCG, St Kilda and Altona Bay, before flying south-west over Sandringham and returning to  base at Point Cook. The air show is on March 1-2.
