Detectives are investigating reports of indecent assaults at the hands of a medical practitioner in regional Victoria.
Four women have come forward with allegations after visiting a medical practitioner in the Kilmore area, about 60km north of Melbourne, police say.
The Seymour sexual offences and child abuse investigation team are investigating the claims, which were made between March and October.
Police are also looking into possible links to a similar incident that occurred in Geelong in 2010.
Detectives interviewed a 39-year-old Craigieburn man, who was released pending further inquiries.
Anyone with information regarding the incidents is urged to phone Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or visit www.crimestoppers.com.au.
