Police are looking for a senior Hells Angels figure after he failed to appear in court to face assault charges.
Paul Peterson, who has held the position of sergeant-at arms of the Hells Angels Nomads, was scheduled to appear in Heidelberg Magistrates Court for "assault-related matters".
The court issued a warrant for Mr Peterson in his absence on April 17, police spokesman Sergeant Kris Hamilton said.
Police on Wednesday released photos of Mr Peterson and have appealed to the public for more information.
"The 37-year-old is believed to be a member of the Hells Angels and is known to frequent Thomastown, Reservoir and Mill Park," Sergeant Hamilton said.
Mr Peterson is about 176 centimetres tall, with brown hair, brown eyes and a fair complexion.
"Peterson may be travelling around in either a 2013 blue Ford Falcon XR6 or a 1999 grey Lexus sedan," Sergeant Hamilton said.
People who see Mr Peterson should call triple-0 immediately, police said.
