Police are hunting two teenage cigarette bandits who forced a convenience store attendant to lock himself in an office after they threatened him with a knife.
The boy and girl attempted to rob a convenience store in Noble Park on December 10..
The pair entered the store on Heatherton Road and approached the counter before making demands for cigarettes about 1.30am.
The boy produced a knife and threatened the attendant, who locked himself in an office. The pair fled the store empty handed and were last seen running west on Heatherton Road.
The boy is described as Caucasian, 155cm tall with a medium build. He was wearing a black hooded top with blue pants.
The girl is 180cm tall with a medium build. She was wearing a grey hooded top with grey pants.
