Three men accused of scamming insurance companies out of more than $323,000 in eight months have faced court.

The trio are alleged to have made fraudulent repair claims against six Mercedes Benz vehicles and an Audi, as well as two Toyotas and a Holden.
Joseph Abouchaya, 27, Omar Bchinnati, 26, and Vincent Ferella, 58, were charged with deception, and conspiring with each other and others to "cheat and defraud" insurance companies by making fraudulent repair claims.
They have not yet indicated whether they intend to plead guilty to the charges, and they were released on bail.
In documents tendered to the court, police allege the men made false insurance claims on the 10 cars between June 2014 and March 2015.
Suncorp Insurance Group was allegedly the target of most of the claims, losing more than $286,000.
The men's court appearance follows a string of raids on businesses and properties in the Sunshine and Maribyrnong areas since February 2015 in connection with the alleged fraud.
In the most recent raid, police seized luxury cars, including a stolen Audi, a Mercedes and a Porsche, and more than $50,000 in cash.
It is alleged the vehicles were used in insurance frauds.
The men did not have legal representation when they fronted the Melbourne Magistrates Court on Friday, and Magistrate Belinda Wallington advised them they would need lawyers when they next appear on September 23.
