A cement truck crashed into another vehicle and rolled onto its side when its tyre blew out in Melbourne's east during peak hour, police say.
The truck driver and two people in the second vehicle were taken to hospital with minor injuries following the crash on Victoria Street in Hawthorn just after 8am.
A Victoria Police spokeswoman said the cement truck was travelling west on Victoria Street in the right-hand lane when one of its tyres blew out.
The truck swerved and crashed into a white sedan that was heading west along Victoria Street in the left lane.
"The truck driver has then tried to correct the truck's trajectory but has overcorrected, resulting in the truck rolling onto its side," the police spokeswoman said.
The 47-year-old truck driver, from Thomastown, was taken to hospital with minor head injuries.
The 32-year-old male sedan driver and his female passenger, 29, both from Balwyn North, were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Victoria Street had been closed in both directions between Church Street and Burnley Street. The road reopened about 10.30am.
