Detectives have released the image of a man they believe could help with their investigation into the violent death of a Hastings jewellery shop owner.
Dermot O'Toole, 64, was stabbed and his wife injured at their jewellery store on High Street in Hastings about 5pm on July 12.
Paramedics arrived at the scene but were unable to revive him.
Police hope to speak with this man.
Gavin Perry, 26, of Crib Point was charged with murder, armed robbery and intentionally causing serious injury in the days after the death.
On Friday police released images of a young man they believe was at the jewellery store about 5pm, who was believed to have offered assistance.
The man is not considered a suspect, but police would like to speak to him in relation to anything he may have seen that could assist with the investigation.
Mr O'Toole's storefront was laden with flowers and tributes following his death. Locals described him as “a lovely man”.
