A Watsonia woman has been arrested after a police chase over her alleged role in a kidnapping and armed robbery in Melbourne's north.
Brittany Culmsee, was arrested around 4am on Friday after the chase on High Street, Reservoir.
The 20-year-old was taken to the Northern Hospital where she remains under police guard.
She will be charged with kidnapping, armed robbery, threats to kill and theft of motor vehicle over a kidnapping on January 3.
Police are continuing to hunt for her alleged accomplice, Daniel Piccolotto, 26.
A warrant has been issued to arrest the Coburg man, last seen in Tullamarine last Friday.
He is believed to be hiding in the northern suburbs and may be driving a stolen red 1999 Honda CRV, registration PQT-696.
The public is warned to keep their distance as he may be armed.
