Seven bikies charged with driving on meth outside clubhouse

Seven people have been charged with drug offences, including driving under the influence of methamphetamine, outside the Coffin Cheaters Outlaw Motorcycle clubhouse in Bayswater.

The group were caught during a police sting out the front of the clubhouse on December 5.

During the targeted operation, officers from the police gang crime squad tested 176 people for alcohol and drugs and charged eight people with driving with an illicit drug in their system.  

A police spokesman said seven of the people charged were known Coffin Cheaters members or associates.

Another was charged with driving with an illicit drug in their system.

The group or men and women, ranging in age from 20 to 55 years old, will face court in February.
