Driver uses dead shark as a bull-bar

A shocked Perth woman has captured footage of a Perth driver travelling down a Safety Bay Road with a large shark strapped to their bull bar.

Since being posted to a Perth fishing Facebook group on Monday, the video of the bizarre trip had been viewed nearly 8,000 times.

Tiger sharks with an interdorsal fin of 70 centimetres or more are not allowed to be fished recreationally in the South West bioregion of Western Australia.

The driver could also face a $1000 fine for deliberately obscuring their vehicle number plate.

The Department of Fisheries has been contacted for comment.
