Two women have died in separate car crashes in Perth.
A 27-year-old woman was killed in a head-on collision in Landsdale on Friday night. Two children survived the collision.
Police say the woman was driving a Hyundai Excel north on Mirrabooka Avenue near Southmead Drive around 6.30pm when it was struck head-on by a Nissan Pulsar travelling in the opposite direction.
The woman was taken to Royal Perth Hospital where she died from her injuries. Two children who were in the Hyundai were taken to Princess Margaret Hospital where they are in a stable condition.
The 35-year-old man who was driving the Nissan is also in a stable condition in Royal Perth Hospital.
In a separate incident, a 22-year-old woman died when her Toyota Corolla crashed off Kargotich Road in Mundijong in the early hours of Saturday.
Police say she was alone in the vehicle when it crashed into a tree around 2.15am.
Investigators from the Major Crash unit want to speak to anyone who saw the crashes or any of the vehicles involved prior to the collisions.
