WA fires: Police seek to find one person still unaccounted for post Yarloop

Police are calling on evacuees from WA's devastating bushfires to register themselves, as they seek to locate one person still unaccounted from the fire zone.

Fire conditions worsen for Harvey

There has originally been three people unaccounted for but police announced the discovery of two bodies in burnt-out Yarloop on Saturday night.

It is possible the unaccounted for person may have left the area prior to the fire. WA police will continue to attempt to locate the person.

Anyone who lives in the impacted area, and who left the area prior to the fire is asked to register themselves with the Australian Red Cross:

Register at Register.Find.Reunite.  from any computer or mobile device, call the State Enquiry Centre Line on 1800 015 337 or speak to an Australian Red Cross staff member in person at an evacuation centre.
