JOHANNESBURG: The brother of the South African athlete Oscar Pistorius has been charged with culpable homicide over a car accident in 2010, media reports say.
Carl Pistorius allegedly killed a female motorcyclist while driving outside Johannesburg, his lawyer, Kenny Oldwage, confirmed to eNews Africa Channel and Eyewitness News.
Prosecutors accuse Mr Pistorius of driving recklessly in the accident. However, Mr Oldwage denied the charges and told the TV channel that Mr Pistorius was not drunk. He said the woman died because she drove into Mr Pistorius's car, the New York Post reported.
