The Canberra Liberals have filed a motion of no confidence in Chief Minister Andrew Barr, alleging Canberra has become "the corrupt capital" under his leadership.

Opposition leader Alistair Coe moved the motion late on Wednesday, which said the Assembly no longer had confidence in Mr Barr "due to the government's engagement in corrupt decisions".
Mr Coe claimed Labor's relationships with the unions, and its Glebe Park and CFMEU Dickson land swap deals were proof the party was "no longer fit to govern" the ACT.
He also made reference to its "indirect" ownership of poker machines through the Labor-controlled Labor Club, saying this was a "conflict of interest".
The motion can mean the ACT's parliament suspends for seven days to consider the motion however Labor and the Greens voted to continue sitting.
It will instead be the first item on the agenda of next Thursday's sitting.
Mr Barr said he was confident he retained the support of the majority of the members of the Assembly.
Under Labor's parliamentary agreement with the Greens, the Greens cannot side with the Liberals on motions of no confidence against the government "except in instances of proven corruption, gross negligence or significant non-adherance" to the deal.
Greens leader Shane Rattenbury said he would look at the allegations "very closely".
The Liberals last moved a motion of 'no confidence' against a chief minister in 2012 against then Chief Minister Katy Gallagher, after the health data doctoring scandal.
