Bink turned to his dad and said determinedly, "That's going to be my job when I'm older."
Fast forward to 2018 and Harry is back at EPIC doing exactly what he said he'd be doing.
On Wednesday, the 23-year-old Canberran and four of his Nitro Circus motocross teammates - all Australians - high-fived, fist pumped and screamed with joy as they landed stunt after stunt on a new 10-metre wooden ramp during rehearsals for new show Nitro Circus: The Next Level.
The new ramp, designed to send the Nitro Circus performers five storeys in the air, is temporarily based at EPIC for rehearsals and will be packed up and transported to Canberra Stadium on Saturday for the world premiere of the new show.
"Hitting that new ramp is insane, I haven't had any feeling like it," Bink says.
"The other ramps we have are half the size and the angles are half the steepness - to be hitting these with all of my idols, including [Nitro Circus founder] Travis Pastrana, is just unbelievable.
"We're just going so high and it's so scary and all the boys are terrified."
A former Gold Creek High student, Bink says he can't wait for the "phenomenal buzz" of starting his dirtbike and performing for the people of the capital.
"It's insane, as a kid I had a dream to run off with Nitro Circus and travel the world and I just still wake up and I can't believe it's actually a reality now," he says.
"To be able to come back to my home town and show off what I've achieved over the last few years - like winning gold at the Nitro World Games, the new ramp and now my first ever Nitro Circus show - it's a dream come true."
He's snapped his right tibia and fibula twice, broken his left tibia and fibula and has 20 screws holding his right heel together.
"I've also got a rod in my left tibia, I've dislocated my left shoulder nine times now, shattered my right wrist and I've had a couple of concussions along the way."
He'll definitely have the brown undies on on Saturday, Bink says, as he joins the Nitro Circus cast of skateboarders, BMX riders, scooter riders and motocross riders live on stage.
"Half of us have never even jumped [the new ramp] before but we've got a deadline and that's Saturday," he says.
"It's scary because if something's going to go wrong, it will go wrong in front of a crowd, that's just what happens.
"It's exciting but we are all a little bit stressed."
